About / Bio Tim (1992) is an international operating Lighting Designer and Theater Maker. He graduated from the Theater Arts program at the Amsterdam School of the Arts and completed his Master of Fine Arts at New York University in 2018.
Tim’s work is characterised by combining strong conceptual thinking with a deep and refined sensitivity to atmosphere, narrative, and spatial dynamics.
His impressive clientele included SAMPHA, the Dutch National Theatre, Vienna Volksoper and the English Touring Opera. Tim’s work was also presented at the Second Avenue Dance Company in New York, the National Theatre Antwerp, Opera Holland park in London, Qatar Museums and the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam.
With a strong international foundation, Tim is eager to expand his work globally, collaborating across cultures and disciplines to bring unique, visually compelling stories to life.
