About / Bio Ivan is a Dutch film director with Cape Verdean roots. His work has a unique and distinctive style and focuses on the intersection of film, advertising, contemporary art and street culture. It is often inspired by his personal view of his surroundings and life interests. For example, the One Night Stand film Cabo or the prizewinning music video We Zijn Er for Typhoon. The music video tells a painful story and is shot on the beautiful island of Cape Verde. One thing is for sure, Ivan has a big love for film making and he can’t wait to spread the love!
