Jasper Stoop

About / Bio Jasper Stoop (1996) is a born and raised and based in Amsterdam actor and theatre maker, known for his versatility and distinctive voice. He graduated from the Amsterdamse Toneelschool & Kleinkunstacademie in 2020, where he co-created and starred in his graduation production ‘De worm in het zijn’, which earned him the Top Naeff Prize for promising talent.

Jasper’s acting style is characterized by his ability to deeply transform into diverse characters, often portraying marginal figures with emotional depth and authenticity.

He frequently collaborates with theatre maker Simme Wouters at Orkater. Together, they have created productions such as ‘De dingen die begraven liggen’ and ‘Het nut van Edo Dompelmans’. Jasper recently also worked for International Theater Amsterdam in ‘De Wetten’, ‘Tijd voor Geluk’ and ‘Weg met Eddy Bellegueule’ of director Eline Arbo.
Besides theatre, he has appeared in television productions like ‘Mocro Maffia’, ‘Cast’, ‘Het Gouden Uur’, and ‘Rundfunk: Roy & Duco’.

With his blend of acting expertise and creative collaboration, Jasper Stoop stands out as a compelling figure in contemporary Dutch theatre and television.
