About / Bio Wietse van Bezooijen is a Dutch colorist working across film, commercials, music videos and documentary. With a keen eye for atmosphere, texture and visual storytelling, he approaches color as an essential part of the narrative, shaping the emotional world of an image rather than simply correcting it.
His recent credits include the short film We Were Here Once, De Bijenkorf and Us Still at the Zoo for World Animal Protection, alongside work for artists such as Claude, Joost Klein, Goldband and brands including Asics and Porsche.
Rather than imposing a signature look, Wietse works closely with directors and cinematographers to find the visual language that best serves each project. His approach is intuitive and detail-driven, balancing technical precision with a strong sense of mood, naturalism and cinematic character.
