Carmen van Mulier

About / Bio Carmen van Mulier (1994) is a Rotterdam based actor, singer, and director. She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Amsterdam in 2017 and has since carved out a distinctive creative path that crosses theatre, film, and music.

Carmen is known for her captivating blend of surrealism, absurdism, and symbolism.

She took the lead role in ‘Die unendliche Geschichte’ at the esteemed Schauspielhaus Bochum in Germany and co-founded the theatre collective UMA at Orkater with two fellow actresses and a composer. On screen, she’s appeared in the award-winning film ‘De Veroordeling’ and popular series like ‘Oogappels’, ‘Nieuwe Buren’ and ‘This Is Gonna Be Great’. She’s also made her mark as a writer and director, including the music video ‘Computa’ for Jo Goes Hunting.

Under the name Nemrac, Carmen explores her musical side, mixing intuitive piano melodies with beats, samples, and synths to create a genre defying sound. Her debut EP ‘Welcome to Nemrac’, released in 2024, was met with acclaim.

Looking ahead, Carmen is eager to dive into new projects that further push the boundaries of her multifaceted artistry.
