Joardy Film is the Amsterdam-based makers duo of actor Jim Deddes and writer/director Jan Hulst. Known for their absurd, painfully funny and highly original style, the two have built a cult following with their surreal sketches, offbeat characters and sharp observations of Dutch life.
Their work includes viral videos, the acclaimed VPRO series ‘Joardy Season’, and the podcast ‘AT6’ with live events at Paradiso and Down The Rabbit Hole. They also created the live show JOARDY SHOW, which toured through The Netherlands.
Hulst writes and directs, Deddes performs nearly all the roles, and together they’ve created a strange, hilarious universe that’s as uncomfortable as it is brilliant. Joardy Film continues to push the boundaries of comedy. Raw, weird, and completely their own.
